The Month of the Fatherland began in Panama last night with a light show, fireworks and ceremony on the palace. Photo is from Municipio de Panama Facebook page.

National holidays in Panama this month include: Nov. 2 is Day of the Dead; Nov. 3 is Separation Day from Colombia; Nov. 4 is Patriot Day; Nov. 5 is Colon Day; Nov. 10 is a celebration of an uprising against Spain; and Nov. 28 is Independence Day (from Spain).

There’s a lot of red, white and blue going on…
