And we are off… (after school gets out)

Dean gave the official yes to a job in Panama. Dean goes in April. JoAnn and the boys go in June. Now we have to figure out how to wrap up 22 years of family life in one house, put it in a shipping container and send it to Latin America.

Even though we have been talking about it with family and close friends as a possibility, it is amazingly hard to say “Yes. It’s happening.” We each have had our own issues. For Dean, he could barely tell people at church. For JoAnn, there might have been a panic attack amid Christmas decorations. It wasn’t festive or pretty. We won’t rat out the kids though they seem to be taking it better than us.

I’m hoping writing about it will help, give us a place to share updates and happenings with friends and family.

It’s gonna be an adventure…
